Social impacts are becoming more and more relevant for companies as a differentiator and business driver.

Since 2013 around 20 companies have developed and tested the Handbook for Product Social Impact Assessment and supporting reports. This Handbook has become the de facto standard for companies that look for a credible, science based, yet pragmatic approach. Anyone can download and apply the Handbook.

After 7 years the Roundtable members are transforming itself into a Partnership, embracing any company that wants to understand the social impacts of their brands, product groups or individual products.

The entry level Supporting Partnership, provides direct access to support and interaction with your peers. At this level we do not yet go into all the details of the methodology, but we help you to understand the potential business case when learning and adopting this approach.

      Core partner

      • Provide governance for the partnership
      • Work on methodology updates and on implementation manuals
      • Currently only available for former roundtable members

Our Core partners are the backbone of the Partnership

Currently only former Roundtable members are eligible to become a Core partner; in future Active partners who have published a case study summary can also become a Core partner. Core partners are the “owners “ of the Creative Commons licence; they decide about updates and they steer the direction of the Partnership.

Core-partners are eligible to become members of the steering committee. The steering committee is the owner of the Handbook and develops a strategic plan, decides on methodology updates and joins forces on next challenges, like further developing the implementation manual, engaging with sister projects etc.

On top of this, 24 hours of individual support with cases, implementation, data tools etc. are provided.
